Home Business Registration Companies

Refers to a company that is incorporated outside of Namibia but has established a place of business within Namibia, it is legally registered in another country but operates commercially within Namibian borders.

Procedure to register a Foreign Company

Submission of name application/reservation form CM5.

Once the name reservation is approved, you can now apply for a certificate of registration of memorandum of External Company. This requires the submission of the following documents:

Please Note: The Certificate of Incorporation and Certificate to Commence Business for a foreign company are included in the issuance of the CM49 form.

⚠️ Form CM1 and CM46 are not applicable in this case.

Certified copy of the memorandum and Article of Association in triplicate, as it was registered in its original country

Notice of postal and registered address on CM22

Consent to act as Director or Officer CM27

List of Directors, Auditors and public Officers on CM29

Appointment of an Auditor on CM31

Application of Certificate of Registration of memorandum of External Company CM49

Request for submission of additional Copies on CM51

Copies of Beneficial Ownership (BO) of all Owners
