COVID -19: BIPA’s Response

Dear Valued Client

In the wake of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and in keeping with the

President’s directive on public health response to prevent the spread of

coronavirus in Namibia, please note the following:

BIPA will continue to offer its services to the public.

Clients are requested to minimise their risk of being infected or infecting

others, by:

¢ Maintaining a physical distance from others;

  • Avoiding physical contact (i.e. greeting by hand);
  • Sneezing and coughing into your arm and away from others;

¢ Maintaining personal hygiene by regularly washing hands with soap and

water, or using hand sanitizer;

¢ Informing BIPA if you visited our offices, or were in contact with our staff,

while you might have had earlier exposure to Covid-19 at another

occasion.

Furthermore, clients are requested to make EFT payments or

direct deposits at the Bank, rather than pay with cash. All bank

account details are available on the BIPA website under

‘Contact Us’ as well as ‘Downloads/How to’.

Although we will make all efforts to ensure that our service delivery to you

remains of a high standard, please note that delays might be expected as BIPA

proceeds to re-arrange its operations to limit staff’s exposure to infection.
