(S2 Requesting statistical data
SINES rELLEC fromthe BIPA database
Dear Client,
BIPA offers a service whereby we can avail the statistical data from our database to
interested parties at a cost. Any person requesting data from the Records and
Archives Division for Companies and/or Close Corporations should pay the
prescribed fee as required in terms of Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2004 and
Section 5 of the Close Corporations Act, 1988.
The prescribed fee is determined based on the type and number of data entries
requested.
Below are some examples of data that can be requested:
o List of entities registered in a certain period;
o List of all registered entities with BIPA;
o List of entities that manufacture certain products or deliver certain services;
o List of registered entities by industry and business type;
o List of registered entities within a certain geographical area in Namibia;
o Deregistered entities for a certain period;
o Demographical data of business owners;
o Etc.
