BIPA INTRODUCES NEW DATE STAMPS
The public is hereby informed that, as from 6 June 2022, the Business
and Intellectual Property Authority will commence with the use of new
date stamps for applications.
These stamps will come with different wording for the different stages of
submissions:
- Date stamp 1: Submitted - Pending Approval
This stamp will be used to acknowledge receipt of documents
submitted. All submitted documents will contain this date stamp on
one corner of an application.
- Datestamp 2: Rejected
This stamp will be used on applications containing mistakes. Clients
will be required to rectify the mistakes and resubmit their
documents.
- Datestamp 3: Approved
Placed on approved documents.
