PUBLIC NOTICE:

BIPA Services during COVID- 19 Lockdown

This Notice serves to inform all our stakeholders that the BIPA Offices will be closed

from 26 March to 16 April 2020, in response to the COVID-19 lockdown. During this

period, BIPA services will be available as per the details provided hereunder:

  • Submission of Name Reservation Applications for Close Corporation and

Defensive Name to be done through ICSF (NambizOne Portal) at

https://www.doingbusinessnamibia.com/startingbusiness;

Close Corporation and Defensive Name Applications, of which Name Reservation

Applications were submitted through ICSF, must be submitted through the same

Portal (ICSF);

Close Corporation and Defensive Names, which Name Reservation Applications

were submitted manually, must be submitted through the email

applications @bipa.na or bipaapplications@gmail.com (for larger attachments);

All Annual Returns, Company Registration and all maintenance (amendments)

lodgments can be submitted by email at applications@bipa.na_ or

bipaapplications@gmail.com (for larger attachments);

New Applications for Intellectual Property Rights (Trade Marks, Patents,

Copyright, Industrial Designs), Amendments, Publication, Renewals and all IP

Rights related correspondences, can be submitted through applications@bipa.na

or bipaapplications@gmail.com (for larger attachments);

All submissions are to be accompanied by the proof of payment of the relevant

fee (the bank account details are available on the BIPA website under ‘Contact Us’

as well as ‘Downloads/How to’). For Annual Returns, attach the latest CM32, and

for CM29, attach the latest CM29;
